Today I was looking forward to a quilt class that I had signed up for.
We were going to learn how to make the small feathered star.
Twenty ladies from the guild I'm a member of came and
we unloaded all of our sewing supplies and fabrics.
We helped each other out as to which fabrics would work better.
We had food, of course!
Unfortunately, the teacher never showed up. Many phone calls were made
to find out where he might be but all to no avail.
So what do twenty ladies do as they are waiting for the teacher?
We share stories about our children, grandchildren, projects we're working on, and so on.
Even though there was no class, we all had a wonderful time laughing.
