I have found a new addiction. It's Pinterest. To me it's an endless bulletin board of ideas and desires that doesn't take any space in your home. So as I was on it today, I found some interesting artwork on sewing machines. It's not artwork done by a sewing machine but artwork on a sewing machine.
This is what I found:
Talk about artwork!
Now I remember my mom's Singer sewing machine and it
never ever looked like the one above. It was like the
one pictured below.
When I found this one below done by Sandi Wiseheart, I thought WOW!
That is imagination.
You could also learn how to do the artwork on the machine
below by following the tutorial
And who would have thought that a
Sharpie pen would be this fun.
And what about this beauty! This machine's artwork was
done with fabric by quilt artist Pamela Mostek as part
of a Bernina Challenge. You can follow her
step by step process clicking here.
Now I don't know if I'll ever do any of this to my
sewing machine but it is wonderful to see
the creativity show here. So if you feel inspired,
go for it! What do you have to lose?
Thanks for posting these photos! The creativity and talent is wonderful, even the embellishing machine can be embellished - Love it!!
